DJ Tutor Sessions

Mal is a producer, singer/songwriter, multi instrumentalist and DJ based in Northern Ireland. She has played on lines up’s alongside Fatboy Slim, Fred Again and Floorplan and venues such as Fabric, Koko and Ministry Of Sound as well as festivals including Field Day, Junction 2 and ADE. She currently has a monthly resident radio show on London radio station Foundation FM and frequently guests on Rinse FM.

Her most recent release which was a vocal feature for underground house producer Amy Dabbs was released in September 2023 and was accompanied by a remix by Dam Swindle. It was played on Danny Howards BBC R1 dance show and featured in DJ Mag and Resident Advisor.

Mal studied for her degree at Leeds College Of Music where she gained a deeper knowledge of music production, theory and composition while also developing her skills as a singer, guitarist, bassist and pianist.

It’s during her time in Leeds she discovered the underground dance music scene. Attending clubs like Beaver works and Canal Mills. This is where her love for dance music came to fruition and sparked an obsession for digging deeper into underground sounds.
